Ambuja Cements and ACC have become India’s leading cement companies to have their net-zero targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This milestone aligns their near-term targets for 2030 and net-zero goals for 2050 with global climate science and the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C goal.
Ambuja Cements crossed the 100 MTPA capacity mark in FY25, becoming the world’s ninth-largest cement maker. With ongoing expansions and the integration of Orient Cement, it now targets 118 MTPA by FY26 and 140 MTPA by FY28.
Adani-led Ambuja Cements added 299 MW of renewable energy in FY25, aiming for 1,000 MW by June 2026. It also processed 20.88 million tones (MT) of waste-derived resources, reinforcing its circular economy efforts.

Ambuja Cement Ltd (ACL) has announced an investment of approximately Rs. 1,600 crore (US$ 184.2 million) to establish a cement grinding unit in Warisaliganj, located in the Nawada district of Bihar.

Ambuja Cements, a subsidiary of the Adani Group, announced an investment of Rs. 6,000 crore (US$ 721 million) to set up 1,000 MW of renewable power capacity in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The investment will include a 600 MW solar power project and a 150 MW wind power project in Gujarat, as well as a 250 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.

In April 2023, Ambuja Cement and ACC, the cement building and material companies of Adani Cement and part of Adani Group, have been recognized as the ‘Trusted Cement Brands’ by TRA Research in its Brand Trust Report 2023, for the second year in a row. Ambuja Cement and ACC rank among the top two cement brands and are also among the top three brands in the manufacturing category of the report.
