Newcastle University offers two Indian scholarships

New Delhi: UK-based Newcastle University has announced two Newcastle University Indian Scholarship for undergraduate applicants. This includes £3,000 each, payable towards the first year of tuition fees. These are available for Indian students applying for entry into degree programmes in the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Agriculture and Engineering and Medical Sciences.

To apply scholarship, a student must be an Indian national and have been assessed as international/ overseas for fees purposes. One must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place at Newcastle University and intend to register to begin studies during the 2014-15 academic year.

With respect to the academic requirements, an individual must have achieved 85 per cent or above in standard 12th, AAA in A level or 37 IB points.
